EASTER GARDEN CELEBRATION

Aberdeen’s Easter celebrations start in the mall’s Central Atrium, where a huge, photo-friendly diorama of bunnies, flowers and more is already on display. But April 5 (1:00pm to 4:00pm) is when the big party kicks off, complete with a magic show and a meet-and-greet with real rabbits (both free) as well as face painting and balloon twisting activities (available via tickets tied to mall receipts).

BUNNY TAILS SCAVENGER HUNT

Explore the mall (hopping not required) during this family-friendly, self-guided scavenger hunt and you’ll be solving clues, searching out hidden surprises and enjoying a spring-forward interactive experience––with the chance to win great prizes! While you’re here, consider adding a visit to the outdoor West Coast Amusements’ Spring Carnival, complete with midway rides and more.

KIDS NIGHT OUT EASTER EGG HUNT

A favourite year-round activity, The World of Kidtropolis is hosting a special Easter edition of its Kids Night Out event. Drop the little ones off for an evening of fun––including games, an epic egg hunt and tasty treats like pizza, juice and popcorn—while you enjoy a well-earned parenting break. Space is limited, and tickets may not be available at the door, so be sure to book in advance.

EASTER AT THE CANNERY

The egg-based lifecycle of West Coast salmon is a big theme at this popular annual happening––and there are lots of fun things for kids to do when they drop by. Perfect for marine-keen visitors aged from two to six, activities include crafts, games, storytelling and a special Easter scavenger hunt that includes a tempting treat for each participant.

RABBITATS EASTER BUNNY FEST
LuLu Island Winery, 16880 Westminster Highway, Richmond, B.C.

Admission: by donation ($6 minimum)
Hop to it and you and your family can hang out with a whisker-twitching fluffle of cute rabbits. Hosted by LuLu Island Winery, this annual fundraiser for Richmond’s Rabbitats rescue charity offers kid-friendly games, crafts, face painting and a vegan egg hunt. But the most popular activity (for $6 extra) is the “meet-and-treat” where you can encounter peckish bunnies face-to-face.

EASTER SPRING FESTIVAL AT KASSA FARM

Expect a full afternoon of fun at this family-friendly Easter happening, complete with activities and experiences for visitors of all ages. That includes everything from games to face painting to an Easter egg and treasure hunt––as well as the chance to visit with some lovely animals. There will also be farm tours, music and dancing––including Persian Sizdah Bedar cultural activities.

Kids will also love the face painting activity and the chance to snap photos with the Easter Bunny.

Book ahead for this delicious, family-friendly spring feast at Lakeside Grill and you’ll be overlooking one of the region’s most popular golf courses. Dining-wise, you’ll find a full array of options such as fluffy pancakes, AAA roast beef and orange-ginger glazed ham––along with multiple dessert choices. The Easter Bunny will also be on-hand to distribute treats to junior guests.
