Culinary Connections & Concert Conversations: Engaging Clients Through Experience

Tourism Richmond’s Business Development team found creative ways to connect with clients this fall with culinary culture, live music, and meaningful networking moments.

Culinary Workshop: Dumpling-Making at Little Karp

To wrap up September, the Business Development team and Richmond Hotel Destination Association (RHDA) hosted a Dumpling-Making Event at Little Karp Seafood & Bar. Guests rolled up their sleeves to make dumplings alongside the chef, who prepared fresh ingredients and cooked each creation on the spot. The event celebrated Richmond’s signature Dumpling Trail, turning it into an interactive networking experience that reflected Richmond’s warm, authentic, and delicious identity.

Bryan Adams Client Event: Taking Richmond on the Road

In early October, Team Richmond took the excitement across the country, hosting a client engagement event at the Bryan Adams concert in Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.

Together with the Richmond Hotel Destination Association (RHDA), the team welcomed clients for an evening filled with great music, conversation, and connection. A private suite, concert-themed t-shirts, and curated hospitality made it a night to remember — with classics like Run to You, Heaven, and Summer of ’69 setting the tone for an unforgettable networking experience.

The event underscored Richmond’s approach to business development: building relationships through shared experiences that inspire and connect.
