Dear Team Richmond,

As we reach the end of 2025, I’m reflecting on a year filled with energy, growth, and collaboration across Tourism Richmond and our valued partners. This year, we saw real momentum take shape, and we are excited to carry that forward into 2026.

Last month, our team attended the Tourism Industry Association of Canada’s Tourism Congress in Gatineau, QC. This year’s theme, “TourismCan,” highlighted how our industry strengthens Canada by building economies, supporting communities, growing careers, and fostering innovation. It was a powerful reminder of the impact we have together.

Here at home, we welcomed over 150 partners to our Year End Celebration at the Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport. With Emcee Zen Lim, entertainment from the Beauty Shop Dolls, and a room filled with familiar and new faces, it was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect and celebrate our shared achievements.

A highlight of the evening was presenting the Richmond EPIC Tourism Awards, which shines a light on the people and organizations who make Richmond such a welcoming destination. Congratulations to this year’s winners and nominees. You truly exemplify the spirit of our community. To learn more about the 2025 honourees, please visit our website here

Looking ahead to 2026, our focus remains on building upon this year’s momentum. Thank you to all our partners and community supporters for your collaboration throughout the year. We look forward to another strong year together.

Happy Holidays and best wishes for 2026,
