Winter in the Village is the beloved annual festival that turns Steveston into a coastal wonderland. Locals and visitors stroll twinkling streets, gather with neighbours, and enjoy a uniquely West Coast winter experience.

This year, we invite community-minded businesses to sponsor our signature experiences. These high-visibility opportunities connect your business with thousands of attendees at multiple activations in November and December.

We have a sliding scale of options to suit budgets up to the stated amounts below, and would value the opportunity to discuss how your support can maximize impact for the events and your business.

Christmas Tree Sponsor – up to $10,000
As the Christmas Tree Sponsor, your business logo and message will be prominently displayed at the central Christmas tree throughout the festival. You will be recognized during the lighting ceremony, included in event announcements, and acknowledged in all related festival promotions, providing lasting visibility at the heart of the village and a direct association with one of Steveston’s most visited holiday attractions.

Horse & Carriage Ride Sponsor – up to $10,000
As Horse & Carriage Ride Sponsor, your business branding will appear on the carriage and in ride queue areas during multiple evenings. You will be thanked during ride announcements, included in festival promotions about this tradition, and named in stories and social posts highlighting the carriage experience, providing repeated, high-impact exposure.

Seasonal Treats & Sips Sponsor – up to $5,000
Help make the festival even cozier by supporting the food and drink moments that make winter in Steveston special. This sponsorship is ideal for a grocery or food & beverage business, as it provides the opportunity to offer hot chocolate, cider, and seasonal snacks at events such as the tree lighting, carriage rides, and community story nights.
