Tourism Richmond welcomed four new stakeholders this month: Shanghai Taste, A Bite of Shunde, Storeys Café and Sally’s Homemade Ice Cream. Here is a quick look at what they bring to our community:

Shanghai Taste

Shanghai Taste is a Richmond favourite located in the heart of Golden Village. This popular eatery serves authentic Shanghainese comfort food in a casual, inviting setting. The restaurant is best known for its juice xiao long bao, crispy pan-friend pork buns, and hearty noodle dishes, along with a variety of Shanghai-style specialties.

A Bite Of Shunde

A Bite of Shunde, with four locations across China, is a celebrated culinary brand renowned for its authentic Cantonese cuisine. Dedicated to preserving and reimagining the rich traditions of Shunde cooking, the restaurant expanded internationally in 2023 with its first overseas location in Richmond, Canada.

Storeys Café

Storeys Café, located just steps from Richmond City Hall, is a welcoming social enterprise open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The café serves freshly prepared breakfasts, coffee, sandwiches, soups, salads, and baked goods in a relaxed setting. Beyond great food, Storeys Café carries a meaningful mission: providing employment training and opportunities for individuals in recovery, helping them build skills, confidence, and community connections. With scratch-made meals and freshly brewed JJ Bean Coffee, Storeys Café serves up wholesome flavors with heart.

Sally’s Homemade Ice Cream

Located in the heart of Steveston Village, Sally’s Homemade Ice Cream is a family-owned shop crafting small-batch ice cream and sorbets fresh on-site every day. Open year-round, they offer both classic favourites and rotating seasonal flavours. On your next visit to historic Steveston, stop by and enjoy a scoop in our safe, welcoming space.

Tourism Richmond invites all Richmond-based tourism businesses, including attractions, restaurants, and retail, to become stakeholders.
