Become a Richmond Destination Ambassador and learn about all the great things Richmond has to offer. Take your destination knowledge to the next level and learn insider information you can share with your guests and receive a certificate of recognition and destination pin. The Front Line Ambassadors program is intended to provide you with the necessary resources and training to provide exemplary service to your guests.

RICHMOND DESTINATION AMBASSADORS PROGRAM

Advance your destination knowledge by completing Tourism Richmond’s Richmond Destination Ambassadors Certificate Program! The purpose of this program is to allow front line staff to become Destination Ambassadors for Richmond and learn all they need to know so that they can tell their guests about what to see and do here while they visit! We want to recognize front line staff who are:

Richmond Destination Ambassadors
Actively promote Richmond and its attractions to their guests.
Have excellent knowledge of Richmond.
Looking to advance their knowledge of Richmond.

WHO QUALIFIES AS FRONT LINE STAFF?

Hotel Employees
Restaurant Employees
Attraction Tour Guides and Interpreters
Destination Management Organization Volunteers
Visitor Servicing Representatives

HOW THE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM WORKS

Complete the Free Richmond Destination Ambassadors Course.

Step 1: Visit TourismRichmond.talentlms.com

Step 2: Click the ‘sign up now’ button

Step 3: fill out your details and click ‘create account’

Step 4: Check your email and verify your account

Step 5: Login

Step 6: There are several courses available. Please make sure to click the Richmond Destination Ambassadors course

Step 7: Complete the course. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate of appreciation and be mailed a destination pin! Abigail will reach out to collect your mailing address. Please note that Front line Staff must have a Canadian-based address to receive the pin by mail upon completing the course.

Richmond Destination Knowledge Refresher Quiz

Already completed the Richmond Destination Ambassadors Course? Our Richmond Destination Knowledge Refresher Quiz is designed for front line staff who have already completed the Richmond Destination Ambassadors Course and would like to refresh and deepen their understanding of the city.

Put your knowledge to the test with this refresher quiz and answer 18 out of 22 questions correctly. There is no limit to how many times you give the quiz a go, so don’t be afraid to what you’ve learned to the test.
