Dear Team Richmond, 

On March 21, 2026, Tourism Richmond proudly celebrated 30 years of promoting Richmond as a vibrant destination and supporting our local tourism community. Over the past three decades, our industry has grown through the dedication and collaboration of the many businesses, organizations, and partners who have helped shape Richmond’s visitor experience. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to building the welcoming and dynamic destination we share today. 

This milestone was an opportunity to look back at moments from the past 30 years, from the early days of visitor services to the many initiatives and partnerships that have shaped Tourism Richmond over time. We are pleased to share a few of these memories as we reflect on how far we have come.

This April, Richmond will welcome the Travel Media Association of Canada (TMAC) for their annual conference. Hosting this national gathering of travel media presents a wonderful opportunity to showcase Richmond to travel writers and storytellers from across the country. We look forward to sharing the many experiences that make Richmond such a special place to visit. 

Tourism Richmond remains committed to supporting our partners and strengthening collaboration as we continue to grow Richmond’s visitor economy together. As we celebrate this milestone year, we look forward to building the next chapter of Richmond’s tourism story with all of you.
