Winter In The Village 2025, held throughout November and December, lit up Steveston village with festive cheer thanks to the enthusiasm of local businesses, organizations, and our community partners. This year’s celebrations brought Steveston to life with vibrant energy and unforgettable holiday moments.
It kicked off with Girls’ Night Out, organized by the Steveston Merchants Association, drawing crowds to local merchants for exclusive shopping, festive treats, and good spirits.
Steveston Sips returned for this year, and saw 13 of Steveston’s cafés, restaurants and bars offer exclusive seasonal drinks including Holiday Egg Nog, Amaretto Cookie Sour and Sake Colada!
The Steveston Festival of Trees once again transformed the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site, showcasing beautifully decorated trees sponsored by local businesses and organizations. Visitors enjoyed wandering among the glowing displays and casting votes for their favorites.
If everyone wasn’t feeling festive enough by now, the Lighting of the Tree at the Steveston Tram truly marked the start of the holiday season, attracting families and visitors who gathered to watch the grand tree illuminate the village. Seasonal music and refreshments created a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all in attendance.

Santa’s arrival by boat was a highlight for kids and adults alike, and the ever-popular Holiday Dog Parade delivered smiles as participants and their furry companions dressed in creative costumes for their photo op with Santa. These signature festivities were well-attended and widely shared on social media, amplifying Steveston’s holiday profile.

Thank you to all our industry partners for your commitment and collaboration in making Winter In The Village 2025 such a resounding success. We look forward to building on this momentum in 2026!
