Background

Tourism Richmond will be moving from a membership to a stakeholder model in 2018. What does this mean? By moving to a stakeholder model, Tourism Richmond will be able to represent all aspects of our destination, not just the interests of those who are currently members. This move will open the doors to many new facets of Richmond that we can leverage with media, meeting and event planners, and leisure travelers to inspire them to talk about and come to our city.

Before a move can be made to the stakeholder model, a vote by the existing membership must be held during the 2017 AGM to amend the organization’s bylaws in order to facilitate the structural change.

We need your support

If you’re currently a member, please come to the 2017 AGM at 11:00 AM on April 13th at the Radisson Hotel to vote your support. Your vote is an important step to help us move forward and help shape the future of tourism in Richmond.
