This second annual, national conference is driven by a desire to align all segments within the Canadian tourism industry, as well as stakeholders throughout our communities touched by tourism, behind a collaborative vision to achieve economic, social and environmental sustainability. As we experience a surge in the tourism market in Canada, environmental and social issues, continue to threaten the sustainability of our planet and communities. IMPACT's focus will be on innovation and defining the legacy that we want to create together as leaders within and in support of the tourism and travel industry, aligned with a modern and progressive Canada.

Destination Direct Canada

Ottawa, ON

This is a two-day Hosted Buyer Program for qualified buyers (association, corporate, third party planners and government) and Canadian Destination Marketing Organizations (DMO) from across Canada. Tourism Richmond is sponsoring fifteen one-on-one pre-scheduled appointments with qualified buyers, 15-minute each, conducted in a hotel suite, branded with Tourism Richmond’s identity. The Destination Direct Canada program also includes many educational and social events allowing Tourism Richmond ample opportunities to network with qualified buyers.

RCMA EMERGE

Greensboro, NC

This 3-day event is organized by the Religious Conference Management Association (RCMA) and includes a 2-day appointment-based tradeshow, keynote sessions, and educational sessions for faith-based meeting planners.

The Sheraton Vancouver Airport/Marriott Vancouver Airport will join Tourism Richmond as a booth partner during the RCMA tradeshow/expo.

CSAE Tete-a-Tete

Ottawa, ON

One-day trade show at the EY Centre Ottawa connecting 165 suppliers and 550 buyers (association, non-profit, third party planners, event planners and government procurers) to do business on the tradeshow floor. Buyers can attend the show at NO COST. The biggest draw of the show is strong educational content of their keynote presentations and it is well attended by qualified buyers from Ontario. Hotel partners who will be joining us at the booth are the Westin Wall Centre and River Rock Casino Resort.

RHDA is partnering with Tourism Richmond and will be deploying a “Chinese New Year” themed marketing campaign to drive more traffic to the Tourism Richmond booth.
