One of BC’s largest and longest-running local food celebrations takes root in Richmond on September 8, 2019, when Rabbit River Farms hosts Feast of Fields. The delicious, one-day-only alfresco party will transform a bucolic section of the popular organic egg producer’s property into a wandering gourmet buffet, complete with around 50 carefully curated food and drink stands.

Running from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on the big day, this year’s full line-up of tasty treats has yet to be announced, but you can expect a breathtaking array of temptations from top-notch chefs, producers, and artisans—plus a thirst-slaking menu of beverages ranging from craft beer and distillery creations to savour-worthy wines. We can tell you that Richmond's Fuggles & Warlock Craftworks, Monkey 9 Brewing, and Fairmont Vancouver Airport will be participating in the event!
The afternoon's festivities will also include live music, a silent auction, and the chance to purchase local produce and Feast-themed souvenir items (engraved cedar plank plates recommended).

Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2019, Feast of Fields is the signature fundraiser for FarmFolk CityFolk, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to projects that cultivate and nourish sustainable food production by supporting local growers and engaging regional communities. To date, they have organized 58 Feasts at 40 different BC farms.
The perfect setting for a festival like this, family-run Rabbit River Farms is a Richmond grassroots success story. A sustainable agriculture pioneer and one of Canada’s first organic egg producers, all its chickens live in cage-free conditions, and the farm has been certified by the SPCA.
