This winter, we are encouraged to stay local and to support our local businesses. From now until September 30, 2021, local residents can explore Richmond, access special offers, and win prizes with the mobile-exclusive Pacific. Authentic. Discovery Passport.

It’s simple to use, and best of all, it’s free to download! All you need is a mobile phone with internet connection, and you’ll be ready to go. Whether you want to enjoy a meal from a local restaurant or bring your kids to an indoor playground city, you’ll find plenty of options for the entire family. Who needs to travel far when you can experience it all in Richmond?

HOW DOES THE DISCOVERY PASSPORT WORK?

Visit the Discovery Passport web page on your mobile phone to sign up for the passport. A personalized link will be sent instantly to you by both text and email. Remember to add the passport as a home screen icon so you can easily access it.

The web app is easy to navigate, and more than 30 participating businesses have been separated into five categories: Discover, Eat, Experience, Shop, and Stay.

Simply click on a category and you will see a list of participating businesses and their offers.

HOW TO REDEEM OFFERS

Follow the redemption instructions on the passport to claim an offer at a location. Most businesses will ask you to show the offer on the Discovery Passport to an attendant. The attendant will fulfill the offer, and provide you with a special 4-digit PIN that is required to mark the offer as “redeemed.”

Don’t forget to ask for and enter the PIN into your passport; this is your ticket to becoming eligible for the prize draws!

WIN PRIZES ALONG THE WAY

There is a benefit to visiting several local businesses—you’ll be entered to win prizes! When you redeem offers at each participating business, you will be entered into a prize draw. There is one prize valued at $500 each, and the winner will be drawn in early September. You will receive one entry per redemption, and there is no maximum limit to the number of entries!

SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES

Aside from the amazing offers and prizes, the Discovery Passport is also a great way to support local businesses. Richmond businesses are eager to welcome visitors back and have adopted new health and safety protocols to ensure the safety of staff and visitors.
