Voyage of the Gikumi

Embark from Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site in Steveston Village, on a voyage to discover the engaging stories, lore, and legends that has made the Fraser River a potent force for both creation and destruction.

Enjoy the voyage with a heritage interpreter and learn how the river is a creator, a sculptor, and a provider for the peoples along its banks. Along the way, listen to stories of rum runners, rescued whales, abandoned boats and hidden fishing villages. The Voyage of the Gikumi is a Pacific.Authentic.Experience, presented in partnership with Tourism Richmond.
