Golden Village in Richmond, BC
East meets west in striking fashion.
This dynamic hub of Asian culture offers some of the world’s best and most authentic Asian dining, shopping, and more, all without leaving North America.
Richmond’s Chinese cuisine is regionally specific. You can dine at restaurants specializing in the cuisine of a particular region of China, like Cantonese, Szechuan, Northern, Hunan, and so much more. Authentic Vietnamese, Korean, and Malaysian restaurants are also abundant.
Sink your teeth into authentic Japanese tapas like bite-sized chicken karaage. Savour broth-filled xiao long bao soup dumplings filled with pork and vegetables. Warm up with a bowl of ramen, congee, or Taiwanese noodles. Create your own masterpiece with do-it-yourself Korean BBQ or Chinese hot pot. At the heart of the Golden Village is Alexandra Road—known as Food Street by locals—home to over 70 restaurants in three blocks. If you crave it, we’ll make it. And it’ll be delicious.
