Richmond, BC Restaurants
Feed your stomach and nourish your soul at Richmond’s 800+ restaurants.
What began as a modest fishing and farming community in the 19th century has flourished into the cosmopolitan metropolis we know Richmond as today. A boom in immigration, namely from Asian countries, and a love for fresh food has merged to give Richmond’s culinary scene the diversity we praise it for today. And since Richmond is home to over 200 active farms, fresh, local food is never hard to find.
Our farms produce exceptional BC berries, including the freshest cranberries and blueberries you’re sure to ever taste. As for our fishing roots, they’re still alive and well in the historic waterfront neighbourhood of Steveston, home to Canada’s largest commercial fishing port and a popular Public Fish Sales Float where you can buy seafood straight from those who caught it.
Richmond is most famous for having North America’s best Chinese cuisine, but exceptional Asian cooking is just the tip of Richmond’s culinary iceberg. Our 800+ restaurants offer everything from burgers to banh mi and fine dining to family fare.
Come hungry. You’ll thank us.
