Richmond Public Library

Richmond Public Library has been proudly serving the Richmond, BC, community since 1976. Our mission is to create opportunities to learn, connect, and belong.

While the library is temporarily closed, Richmond residents can access our online resources, including ebooks, language learning, digital newspapers and much more. Join us online for Summer Reading 2020! Take part in free programs, activities and book challenges for all ages, on now through August 28. Visit for more information.

As the library gradually reintroduces branch services, a curbside holds pickup service is now available with no appointment necessary and book returns have reopened at all locations. The library has also opened up limited access to public computer labs at the Brighouse branch, available on a first-come, first-serve basis by in-person registration. .
