Discover 365 Days of Dining

In 2012, Tourism Richmond launched 365 Days of Dining, a global campaign that attracted 1,500 applicants for the year-long contract role of "Richmond Foodie Blogger." After a public vote on Tourism Richmond's Facebook page, the job - along with a $50,000 salary, living compensation, and a daily meal stipend - went to passionate foodie Lindsay Anderson, who dined at 365 Richmond eateries in 365 days, and blogged about the experience.

"For even the most seasoned chefs and food lovers, Richmond offers endless eating opportunities," she says. "It is a place where dozens of culinary traditions have collided, resulting in food that is authentic, innovative, and diverse. I find it truly remarkable that I can get xiao long bao, French pastries, Indian curry, and homemade ice cream all in one day, and you'd better believe I've done it."  

The campaign came to a close on June 6, 2013, but the 365 Days of Dining blog remains online as a great resource for visitors and locals alike. Guest bloggers continue to contribute posts every week, highlighting the amazing food found in Richmond, BC.
