Tourism Richmond has developed a number of free mobile app experiences for you to use to discover Richmond in a fun and interactive way.

How it Works

1. Sign up to receive your digital experience or passport 

2. You will receive a text or email with details of how access the digital mobile app

3. Open the mobile app and start using it!

4. Simply click the 'check-in' and 'redeem' buttons when you are at the location or redeeming an offer.

Winter in the Village Passport

This holiday passport includes the Light up the Village self-guided tour, plus special offers and discounts at participating Steveston businesses. Each time you check-in at a designated location, or redeem a offer you'll automatically be entered for a chance to win weekly prize hampers (valued at $200 each) for the month of December. A grand prize will be announced the first week of January (valued at $600). 


 

Big Red Scavenger Hunt

Big Red is an Irish Red Setter dog who was once roamed Steveston Village and was known as the “unofficial Mayor” of Steveston. The Cannery Cat at the Gulf of Georgia has challenged Big Red to a scavenger hunt

Can you help Big Red? Visit heritage sites on this free, family-friendly scavenger hunt to find the answers to clues left by the Cannery Cat. Complete the scavenger hunt to receive a sticker and postcard.


 

Bike the Dyke Trail

Discover signature views, attractions, and cuisine as you experience Richmond's dyke trails by bike.

The Bike the Dyke route follows the Middle Arm Trail (5.5km, one way), the West Dyke Trail (6km, one way), and part of the South Dyke Trail (2km, one way). There are plenty of places to stop along the way to make biking the dyke a full day experience. Explore and learn about 10+ points of interest, and check-in at three designated locations to redeem a free bike light.
