Golfing in Richmond, BC
With its mild weather year round, flat geography, and spectacular surrounding scenery, Richmond is perfectly set up for a game of golf. There are plenty of places to play, including several public courses, private courses, driving ranges and pitch and putt parks.
At Richmond’s three public courses - Greenacres Golf Course, Country Meadows Golf Course, and Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club - golf, like everything in Richmond, is affordable and accessible. Courses are open seven days a week and located 15 minutes or less from city centre. Richmond's public golf courses also offer a variety of seasonal rates, special rates for seniors and juniors, and rates for early and late tee times.
All three courses are known for their well-kept grounds, plenty of water features and, of course, the food. Each course features a restaurant where you can stop to fuel up prior to a game, or relax and have a bite to eat after your game.
If you're a frequent visitor to Richmond - perhaps with kids attending college nearby, or you're in the area often for business - two additional golf courses offer some of the finest games and facilities in the region. The Richmond Country Club and the Quilchena Golf & Country Club both offer membership options for non-residents and their families.
Richmond is also home to a city-owned, 9-hole pitch & putt course located at Hugh Boyd Community Park. It’s open daily from April to October and special rates are offered for seniors, juniors, and for those wanting to purchase a second round of golf. Learn more about the pitch & putt course here.
