This quaint fishing village at the mouth of the Fraser River was voted #1 Metro Vancouver neighbourhood out of 192 in 2020. Much of it was declared a heritage zone in 1960, which accounts the warm, old-timey vibe. But it is also a working fishing village, which makes it a seafood loverโs paradise. Buy fresh seafood right off the dock at Steveston Spot Prawns and Seafood, or stop into a fish shop. In season (May to July), treat yourself to some spot prawns from Prawns on the Spot.
