2022 Holiday Display Contest Contestant Sign Up

It’s that time of the year again! Last year, the Holiday Display Contest resulted in close to 40 Steveston businesses transforming Steveston Village into a festive village. We are excited to invite you to participate in this year’s contest. In the spirit of the season, take part in brightening Steveston Village with your festive display.

This year, we will have two winners. One winner will be decided through a judging panel, and the other winner by the peoples’ (locals and visitors) choice.

THE WINNER OF THE BEST DISPLAY WILL RECEIVE

Judge’s Choice

• $1,000, plus a full-page ad in the February edition of the Steveston Insider

People’s Choice

• $1000 prize

*Contest conditions: Under the situation where the judges’ and peoples’ choice winner are the same merchant, then the peoples’ choice award will go to the merchant with the second most votes in the peoples’ choice competition.

THE DETAILS

• Displays must be set up by November 27 and maintained until December 31.
• The contest is open to all businesses in Steveston Village.
• All displays must be displayed on a window or exterior area and must be kept turned on at night. No interior decorations that cannot be visible from the outside will be considered as an “outdoor display.”
