About The Role
Are you a hands-on data and analytics leader who thrives at the intersection of insight, systems, and strategy?
As Lead, Business Intelligence & Marketing Analytics you will functionally lead Tourism Richmond’s analytics and business intelligence portfolio, owning the organization’s data, measurement, reporting, and insight ecosystem while guiding the evolution of analytics strategy and technology governance as the function matures.
Reporting to the Director, Marketing, this is a senior individual contributor role with enterprise-level accountability. You will combine deep execution with practical leadership — ensuring Tourism Richmond has reliable, well-governed, and decision-ready data while working in close partnership with Marketing, internal teams, and external agencies and consultants.
This role is ideal for a seasoned analytics professional who wants meaningful ownership, influence across the organization, and the opportunity to shape how data informs destination marketing, development, and corporate decision-making.
This is a full-time, permanent hybrid position that requires in-office work at least three times per week. The salary range is $75-80K along with a robust RRSP program and a comprehensive benefits package.
What You Will Be Doing
Analytics & Business Intelligence Leadership
- Functionally lead Tourism Richmond’s analytics and business intelligence portfolio.
- Own and evolve analytics strategy, measurement frameworks, and reporting architecture in alignment with organizational priorities.
- Establish and maintain tracking, tagging, and measurement standards across platforms.
- Serve as the internal authority on analytics implementation, governance, and quality assurance.
Digital Analytics, Tracking & Reporting
- Own and maintain Tourism Richmond’s digital analytics ecosystem (website, CRM, email, paid media, and digital experiences).
- Ensure accurate event, goal, funnel, and conversion tracking across platforms.
- Design, build, automate, and maintain dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar).
- Deliver campaign, channel, and owned-channel performance reporting.
- Prepare executive, Board, and stakeholder-ready reporting and summaries.
Insights & Research Synthesis
- Analyze and synthesize insights from digital analytics, CRM data, and third-party research sources.
- Translate data into clear insights, trends, and implications to support decision-making.
- Support marketing optimization and performance improvement through insight-based recommendations.
- Provide data inputs and continuity for large research initiatives (e.g., economic impact and value-of-tourism studies).
Platform Ownership & Agency Liaison
- Act as internal owner and advanced administrator for CRM, email marketing, and website-related systems.
- Perform basic platform configuration and administration in-house where appropriate.
- Provide internal technical oversight for agency- and vendor-led development and enhancements.
- Translate business and measurement needs into clear technical requirements.
Data Infrastructure, Governance & Privacy
- Support practical, scalable analytics and data infrastructure solutions.
- Maintain analytics documentation, governance standards, and institutional knowledge.
- Support website consent management and privacy compliance (PIPEDA, FOIP, CASL, GDPR considerations).
Budget Ownership & Vendor Management
- Manage analytics and business intelligence related budgets.
- Track budget versus spend and support business cases for new tools and platforms.
- Evaluate and recommend analytics and marketing technology solutions in partnership with Marketing.
Corporate & Cross-Departmental Reporting
- Own recurring corporate data products and scorecards.
- Prepare Board-level and executive reporting.
- Provide insights to support destination development, industry engagement, and business events.
What You Will Bring
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 4–7+ years of progressive experience in digital analytics, marketing analytics, or performance reporting.
- Strong hands-on experience with the Google analytics ecosystem; Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to build, automate, and maintain dashboards and reporting.
- Proven experience acting as an internal subject-matter expert and working with agencies and vendors.
- Strong ability to translate technical insights into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Highly organized, pragmatic, and comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor with broad accountability.
- Openness to emerging technologies, including AI-assisted reporting and analytics.

AP/AR Accountant

About The Role
The AP/AR Accountant requires a high level of accuracy and accountability to maintain the integrity of our financial records. This part-time position will be located at our Richmond office Monday to Thursday with a six hour workday. The range of pay we are offering is $28 to $31 per hour based on experience.
What You Will Be Doing
- Manage accounts payable including processing purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
- Maintenance of the vendor master file in the accounting system, including updating of addresses and contacts of suppliers, as well as partners.
- Generate reports for Budget Holders and assist with invoice and GL queries as needed.
- Office administration duties, including filing and maintenance of accounting and other administrative paperwork, including expense reports.
- Performance of routine bank deposits for the organization, including maintaining a record of payments received, and recording payments in the accounting system.
- Assist in the preparation of the year-end audit.
- Other finance and administrative tasks as required.
What You Will Bring
- 2+ years’ experience in general accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and monthly reconciliations.
- Prior experience using Sage 50 Accounting software and Beanworks would be considered a strong asset.
