Dear Team Richmond, 

We kicked off Spring with Tourism Richmond’s second annual Industry Luncheon on April 2, welcoming over 100 industry guests at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel. Timely conversations were shared over the invaluable insights of an esteemed panel on “Challenges and Opportunities for the Richmond Tourism Industry Today”. We are grateful to the following industry leaders for their time and perspectives;

It is always energizing to connect with partners, and we were thrilled to share further details on the Richmond Tourism Master Plan, which we are developing in collaboration the City of Richmond and in partnership with the Richmond Hotel Association. The plan will deliver a long term vision for tourism in Richmond with the goals of boosting visitor experience and driving sustainable economic growth that supports positive community impacts. All industry members have the opportunity to provide input online until May 10 – I encourage you all to share your insights and help shape this important undertaking.

These are unpredictable times and we are all navigating quick shifting business and policy. Tourism Richmond remains committed to our marketing goals and development investments while keeping close to any opportunities that the changing travel landscape presents. One thing remains certain – the vibrancy and openness of Richmond’s culture is steady and we will continue welcoming visitors from around the world to experience our dynamic destination!
