Dear Team Richmond,

Five years! WOW!

I want to take this opportunity to express how deeply I cherish my role as the CEO of Tourism Richmond. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to lead such an exceptional team in such an exceptional destination.

Throughout my time as CEO, I have witnessed firsthand the power of partnerships and collaboration – within our industry, our city, our community, and our team. Together, we showcase the vibrant tapestry of Richmond, from its incredible natural beauty to its rich cultural heritage and unparalleled culinary experiences.

While the last few years have dealt with some unprecedented challenges through our industry’s darkest days, we are now stronger as an organization and as a destination than we have ever been. And I am committed to continuing to drive forward, with focus and purpose.

Thank you to each of you for making these past five years so incredible. I feel honored, privileged, and incredibly lucky to be part of this remarkable team. Here’s to the next five years of continued growth, innovation, and success!

Where is your favourite activity to do in Richmond?

5 years in, I have been so fortunate to have many incredibly memorable and enriching experiences in our city.

Suffice to say that the diversity of food – from hot pot, to dim sum, to dumplings, to spot prawns, to other fresh seafood, to the world-famous Richmond Night Market and so much more – always surprises and delights me! And I like to try it all and be open to everything.
