Details
Britannia Shipyard is a rare surviving example of a once thriving mixture of canneries, boatyards and residences. It is an eight acre National Historic Site with some of the oldest remaining heritage buildings found along the Fraser River.
*UPDATE*
Britannia Shipyards has begun its phased reopening after a deep clean of our site. The first building open is the Britannia Shipyard building - the heart of our National Historic Site.
We are starting with limited opening hours: Thursday to Sunday, noon to 4:00pm.
We have numerous safety guidelines in place including hand sanitizer, physical distancing wayfinding, and limits on the number of people in the Shipyard.
