Britannia Shipyard is a rare surviving example of a once thriving mixture of canneries, boatyards and residences. It is an eight acre National Historic Site with some of the oldest remaining heritage buildings found along the Fraser River.

*UPDATE*

Britannia Shipyards has begun its phased reopening after a deep clean of our site. We are starting with limited opening hours: Thursday to Sunday, noon to 4:00pm.

Please note that from February 22-April 5 there is filming taking place which affects site hours, building access and parking availability. Please note the change in hours:
Closed: March 18, 19 (park site remains open)
Open: March 20, 21, 25 (12:00-4:00pm-Murakami House and Manager's House)
Closed: March 26,27 (park site remains open)
Open: March 28, April 1-4 (12:00-4:00pm-Murakami House and Manager's House)

From approximately April 8 onwards, the site will continue to be open Thursday-Sunday 12:00-4:00pm.
