Britannia Shipyard is a rare surviving example of a once thriving mixture of canneries, boatyards and residences. It is an eight acre National Historic Site with some of the oldest remaining heritage buildings found along the Fraser River.

Britannia Shipyards has begun its phased reopening after a deep clean of our site. We are starting with limited opening hours: Thursday to Sunday, noon to 4:00pm.

Please note that from February 22-April 5 there is filming taking place which affects site hours, building access and parking availability. Please note the change in hours:
Closed: March 18, 19 (park site remains open)
Open: March 20, 21, 25 (12:00-4:00pm-Murakami House and Manager's House)
Closed: March 26,27 (park site remains open)
Open: March 28, April 1-4 (12:00-4:00pm-Murakami House and Manager's House)

From approximately April 8 onwards, the site will continue to be open Thursday-Sunday 12:00-4:00pm.
