In early November, Tourism Richmond, in collaboration with 18 dedicated partners, successfully conducted the 2024 Southeast Asia Sales Mission to Kaohsiung, Taipei, and Singapore. Spanning two weeks, this mission featured client “marketplace” events in each destination, complemented by a series of strategic outside calls. These activities aimed to connect with key players in the Travel Trade sector, both new and existing, fostering deeper collaboration and understanding.
The mission proved to be an invaluable platform for cultivating relationships and gaining insights into inbound travel trends from these markets. Participants had the chance to exchange ideas, explore opportunities, and discuss how Tourism Richmond can further support and inspire travel to the city. These engagements underscored Richmond’s position as a sought-after destination, highlighting its appeal to travelers from Southeast Asia.
