Spotlight Questions:
How long have you been with Tourism Richmond?
7 Years in July.
Who inspired you to pursue the career you have today?
The former chair of Tourism Burnaby hired me many years ago. Ed Jaskula. He was instrumental in me joining the tourism industry and he taught me a lot about what DMO is, what DMOs do, and WHY.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the variety of the tasks of my job. It covers so many different aspects of what a DMO does, but ultimately it is all about relationships and working with people.
Where were you born?
St. John’s, Newfoundland.
What’s something about you (a fun fact) that few people know?
I am an avid road cyclist – and I am looking forward to doing the Penticton Granfondo in July!
What’s one item you can’t live without?
Diet Coke.
An item on your bucket list.
Doing a bike tour in Vietnam.
Favourite place you have visited?
Not sure I can boil it down to one.. but a very memorable one was Liverpool. Went to visit the Beatles attractions and museums and tours. Such a cool and fun city.

Neither!!!
