Bewilder — A Solo Exhibition by Vancouver Abstract Artist Chrissy Cheung

Step into a world of colour, rhythm, and emotion at Capulet Art Gallery in East Richmond. Bewilder presents a new series of large-scale abstract paintings by Vancouver-based artist Chrissy Cheung, whose layered brushwork and custom-blended pigments hum with musicality and energy.

Cheung’s paintings embody movement — each gesture echoing the flow of music, dance, and the subconscious. Through vivid colour fields and rhythmic composition, she explores the harmony between sight, sound, and imagination, inviting viewers to experience painting as both visual and emotional resonance.

The exhibition reflects Cheung’s continued dialogue between intuition and form, exploring how inner motion becomes visible through abstraction. Her expressive approach transforms the canvas into a living space of rhythm, memory, and connection.
