Railway Moncton Nectar Trail Planting
Are you a local resident who wants to connect your local community and engage with the Railway greenway space? Are you curious about environmental stewardship? Volunteer at our nectar trail planting event!
We will work together to replace weeds with native shrubs and help maintain common areas in the community garden. Once the pollinator gardens are planted, the event will conclude with light refreshments of locally grown food to appreciate the service of pollinators.
Participants will learn about environmental stewardship by understanding the relationship between the environment and pollinators. By sharing food made with ingredients sourced from local growers, participants can learn about sustainable food practices and how they can support the local food system.
