Over at Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site, holiday enticements include the lovely Historic Buildings Light Display and bustling Heritage Christmas Craft Fair. There’s also a tempting duo of December concerts to check out.
Not to be outdone, Steveston Museum brings back its captivating Lights in the Park illuminations and regular Songs in the Snow carol concerts. Nearby, the shiny-red Steveston Interurban Tram presents a special Winter Tram event with kid-friendly crafts and refreshments, plus a three night caroling series located outside the Tram.
The Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site will also be hosting its sparkling Festival of Trees and ever-popular Cannery Farmers Market—an ideal place for gift shopping.
