STEVESTON FARMERS & ARTISANS MARKET
Garry Point Park on 7th Avenue, between Moncton Street and Chatham Street, Richmond, B.C.
Sundays (10:00am to 3:30pm) May 10 & 24; June 14 & 28; July 12 & 26; August 2, 16 & 30; September 13
Returning to its Garry Point Park location for the second year running, you’ll find piled-high, just-picked produce from several regional farms here. As the season unfolds, that can mean everything from blueberries to apricots and from crunchy lettuce varieties to a tempting assortment of colourful peppers. Stock up and you’ll soon be feasting like a king!
But it’s not all about produce at this much-loved market. Save time for a good browse around the other vendor stands––in recent years, they’ve offered locally made honey, candles, artisanal soaps and more. And there are always plenty of baked goodies available to fuel you up for those heavy bags of veggies you’ll be carrying home.

KWANTLEN FARMERS MARKET
7700 Minoru Gate, Richmond, B.C.
Tuesdays (11:00am to 4:00pm) May 5 to December 22
Back for the 2026 season at its city centre Minoru Plaza location––just outside Richmond’s main public library branch––this friendly little market is a must-do for locals and visitors. Start with a bakery treat (we’ve definitely indulged in plenty of cookies and croissants here over the years), then wander around, chat to the vendors and peruse their fresh, seasonal wares.
Uniquely, that includes produce grown right here in Richmond by Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s Department of Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems. In previous years, we’ve enjoyed their delicious kale, celery, tomatoes, radishes and more. And don’t forget that this weekly market runs right through to December 22, giving you plenty of opportunities to keep coming back.

RICHMOND COUNTRY FARMS
12900 Steveston Highway, Richmond, B.C.
Daily 9:00am to 8:00pm
This local legend is much more than just a farm stand. Start your visit in and around the large red barn building that’s fronted by heaping produce tables and full-to-the-brim fruit and vegetable containers. As the season progresses, you’ll find all your favourites here plus multiple freshly harvested varieties that are typically hard to find elsewhere.
Don’t miss the blueberries, strawberries and the hotly anticipated arrival of corn on the cob. We’re also huge fans of their beets, broccoli, zucchini and multiple potato varieties. We especially loved the Warba nugget potatoes they had last year: when cooked and cooled, they make a great salad addition. Before you leave, peruse the barn for B.C. artisan jams, pickles and more, then visit the outdoor enclosures where friendly farm animals await.

THE SHARING FARM
2771 Westminster Highway, Richmond, B.C.
Thursdays 3:00pm to 7:00pm; Saturdays 10:00am to 2:00pm from June 6 to October (hours reduced in September and October)
Tuck into a delicious array of own-grown sustainable produce at this inviting farm stand at Terra Nova Rural Park, while also supporting the work of the community farm and its drive to grow food for local causes. In recent years, we’ve enjoyed just-picked kale, beets and leeks here but the harvest changes constantly as the season unfolds––fresh-cut flowers are a big specialty as well.
While you’re here, chat to the friendly team about your own green-thumbed efforts, and be sure to explore the surrounding fields and gardens for added inspiration. You should also save time to check out the park, with its birding-friendly trails and brilliant children’s playground. And be sure to return to the farm for August’s family-friendly Garlic Fest, where thousands roll in for food booths, gardening demonstrations and much more.

KASSA FARM
12320 No. 2 Road, Richmond, B.C.
Hours vary (see their social feeds or call ahead)
Family-run Kassa stages events throughout the year (check out their fun-tastic happenings for Easter, Halloween and more). But we also love visiting from June to fall when a rolling cavalcade of farm stand produce is typically available. The selection varies as the months progress (see their social feeds for updates) but it can include tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, peppers, kale and more.
Fruit-wise, grapes, plums and cantaloupes are also not unusual here. And strawberries are a hugely popular speciality––including a popular u-pick option that runs on Sundays during the harvesting season. There’s a big focus on fresh-from-the-field treats here, which means this is a great destination to gather all the makings of a perfect summertime salad.

THE FOWL FARMER
15539 Cambie Road, Richmond, B.C.
Daily 10:00am to 5:00pm
Chicken fans regularly beeline to this friendly farm gate market where top-notch Fraser Valley producers of fresh and frozen cuts are showcased. They also make their own products here that are ideal for all your summer barbecue needs––from chicken sausages to Italian chicken meatballs to chicken jalapeno burgers. Still hungry? Pick up their own-made fruit pies for an extra-special treat.
But that’s not all. Their shop is also stocked with artisan goodies from a host of great B.C. makers. That typically includes milk products from Avalon Dairy, ice cream from Island Farms, free-range eggs from Coligny Creek Egg Co., and top-quality cuts from Two Rivers Meats. You’ll also find seasonal fruit and veggies as well as fresh-cut flowers from family-owned neighbour Lushberry Blooms.

ATHIANA ACRES
12800 No. 2 Road, Richmond, B.C.
Harvest Box Produce Pass available June to October
While they won’t be hosting a farm stand this year, you can still experience the delicious organic treats grown by this popular family-owned and operated Richmond farm. Specializing in regenerative farming––which focuses on practices such as minimal tilling and maximum diversity––Athiana harvests a huge array of ever-changing produce as the seasons unfold.
For 2026, you can sign-up for a Produce Pass that comprises weekly (18 weeks) or bi-weekly (nine weeks) Harvest Boxes, each featuring six to nine just-picked items. You then collect your box from the farm (or a Vancouver location) on designated days. Your pass also includes perks such as farm tours, event invitations and newsletters (recipes included). Flower-lover? You can even purchase a floral-only pass to keep your home fully festooned all summer long.
