The days are lengthening and the sun is making more than occasional guest appearances––which means it’s time to plan some great days out in Richmond. June is a time to connect with community, culture, and creativity, and it’s recognized across Canada as National Indigenous History Month—a chance to honour the rich histories, heritage, and contributions of Indigenous Peoples. You can explore related programming and events happening throughout the city here.

Alongside these important celebrations, you’ll also find a wide range of events happening this month—from an anime festival to a fish and chips party, and from a war canoe race to a meet-and-greet with an Olympic medalist.
