Back for yet another sparkling season, the 2026 edition of the Richmond Night Market runs on weekends and stat holiday Mondays until September 20. Which means it’s time to unleash your appetite and dive into its most popular feature––especially if your stomach is rumbling louder than a passing airplane.
This year’s market features more than 100 enticing food stands, serving at least 500 diverse and often adventurous dishes. On our recent visit, we explored the rows of colourful culinary vendors, sampled lots of taste-tripping flavours and created our own menu of “neat eat” recommendations for visitors.
But before launching into your own big night out, we have some handy tips. Bring cash, since that’s what most vendors prefer. Arrive early and head straight to the food area to browse your options. Try a dish or two straightaway, then return later––after exploring the market’s other features––for round two.
And don’t forget to take advantage of this year’s expanded Happy Hour deals. Running all evening long, each vendor is offering budget-friendly specials priced at under $10 for food or under $7 for drinks. Scan the Happy Hour QR code onsite to browse the deals on the night you visit. Some vendors are also offering additional special offers after 10:00pm.
One final piece of advice: just outside the main gate is a huge billboard depicting some of this year’s most popular dishes and where to find them inside. It’s a great way to mentally shortlist a few options while queuing for entry. Need more suggestions? Dive into our roster of 2026 recommendations below!
Ramen Donut
Where: Flying Cup Noodle (stand F33)
Famous for their excellent array of Instagram-ready dishes, this returning vendor has a menu jam-packed with tempting options, including Spam musubi and their gravity-defying flying cup noodle creation. But our favourite must-try here is the ramen donut with its crispy, deep-fried shell encasing a soft interior of cheesy instant noodles. It’s a great way to kick off your adventurous foodie evening!

Spicy Salmon Nori Taco
Where: Taco Nori (stand F72)
Fusing crispy taco and succulent sushi into a single dish might seem strange, but everything about it works––especially with this stand’s bestselling spicy salmon version. Expect a generous portion of juicily marinated salmon chunks on a bed of rice encased in a crunch-tastic nori taco shell. Not a salmon fan? Alternative varieties here include tuna, scallop, chicken karaage and more.

Crispy Original Korean Fried Chicken
Where: Seoul Sizzle Korean Fried Chicken (stand F57)
The “other KFC” has long been a Korean comfort food staple––and this is your big chance to discover just how amazing it is. Order a large serving to share (expect to fight over the last piece, though) and you’ll soon be crunching through a golden coating encasing deliciously juicy meat. We tried the original version, but additional options include spicy honey garlic or powdered “snow cheese.”

Deep-fried Squid
Where: Squid Feast (stand F62)
Seafood is a Night Market specialty and at this popular, steam-shrouded stand you’ll find a dish that’s the perfect marriage of interior succulence and crispy satisfaction. Order to share and you and your friends will be treated to a piled-high tangle of deep-fried, Asian-style calamari drizzled with tasty sauce––in options ranging from spicy garlic to sweet and sour and beyond.

Mango Rainbow Sticky Rice
Where: Mango Rainbow Sticky Rice (stand F50)
It’s never too early for dessert at the Night Market and this vegan Thai vendor is highly recommended––especially if you love sweet, fresh mango. Dedicated to a single dish (served in several size options), you’ll receive a paper tray heaped with glistening mango chunks alongside a scoop of coloured coconut sweet rice topped with coconut cream. Order early in the evening to avoid the line-ups!

Cookies and Cream Bao Bun
Where: Bao Buns (stand F8)
On our visit, the chatty server here was a raconteur of rapid-fire quips and warm-eyed bonhomie. But the menu––golden, deep-fried bao buns crowned with ice cream, drizzled condensed milk and decadent toppings––is even more inviting. The cookies and cream version is eye-rollingly amazing but you’ll find several additional options, including a $9.99 Happy Hour signature bun deal.

Golden Crunch Ramen Dog
Where: Tempura Corn Dog (stand F30)
The Night Market never runs out of fun ways to employ the humble noodle and this tasty corn dog variation is one of our favourites. Expect a succulent sausage on a stick (split at one end to resemble shrimp tempura) that’s covered in golden batter and studded with ramen fragment “sprinkles.” There are several other varieties to consider as well––we’ll be back soon for the cheese dog option!

Changsha Black Stinky Tofu
Where: Stinky Tofu (stand F91)
If you’re really keen to sample something adventurous on your Night Market visit, save room for a serving of stinky tofu. A near-legendary Chinese dish made from fermented (and intensely pungent) tofu, this stand serves several varieties. Their Changsha black version is a particular specialty and while it’s certainly not for everyone with its spongy texture, funky smell and off-the-scale umami flavours, it’s a rite of passage for true foodie explorers––good luck!
