And this winter, a full serving of local bars, cafés and restaurants has joined forces to present Steveston Sips––a choice array of creative holiday beverages for visitors exploring the famously festive waterfront village.
Part of Steveston’s hugely popular Winter in the Village program––a multi-week playbill of free or low-cost events, illuminations and holiday happenings––there are 13 participating establishments on the 2025 Steveston Sips menu. And each is offering some deliciously indulgment seasonal drinks from now until December 31.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic options are available. And some participants are also adding limited-time festive appetizers or desserts to their Sips offerings. That means you’ll have plenty of great reasons to take a sit-down break while exploring the shoreline community’s huge array of sparkling Winter in the Village features.

Aloha Hawaiian Grill (110 – 3900 Bayview Street) is seving a smoothly refreshing Aloha Kona Coffee with optional egnogg and macadamia syrup accompaniments. It’s the perfect addition to one of the restaurant’s tempting Hawaiian homestyle comfort dishes––we especially love their Huli Huli Chicken and Maui Beef Ribs.
Blue Canoe Restaurant (140 – 3866 Bayview Street) is a haven for lovers of great seafood––don’t miss their delicious West Coast chowder. And for Steveston Sips, they’re offering an expertly crafted Holiday Mule accompaniment. Blended from vodka, tart cranberry juice, zesty lime and bubbly ginger beer, it’s garnished with rosemary and frozen cranberries for an extra festive flourish.
Breakfast Table Steveston (120 – 12480 No. 1 Road) is serving a silky Holiday Eggnog, fashioned from house-made eggnog, warming winter spices and fresh vanilla bean. Britannia Brewing (250 – 12240 Second Avenue) is loved for its craft beers, gourmet burgers, fish and chips and more. But for Steveston Sips, they’re offering three special drinks: Canadian Negroni, created with B.C. craft spirits and more; Britannia Beericano, made with local vermouth, Campari and their own Deckhand Lager; and an Oatmeal Cookie libation concocted from walnut liqueur, spiced rum, cherry and more.
Damien’s Belgian Waffles (2 – 3891 Chatham Street) is a popular breakfast, lunch and brunch spot among locals and visitors craving authentic European-style sweet waffles. But for Steveston Sips, they’ve also become the go-to spot for Authentic Belgian Hot Chocolate––made with real Belgian chocolate and freshly whipped cream. How can you resist?!
Garry Point Grill & Fish ‘N’ Chips (12771 Seventh Avenue) offers the perfect antidote to winter: fish and chips––the comfort food classic––served in a variety of tempting versions (we love the wild sockeye salmon). But you can warm up even further with their Steveston Sips offering: a creamy Santa’s Masala Chai Brew, a lovely spiced tea made with cloves, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom and more.

For Steveston Sips, you can also add a North Pole Pick-Me-Up to your order. It’s a sweet, creamy coffee that’s perfect for chilly days.
Oretachi Curry Steveston (150 – 12420 No. 1. Road) serves a full menu of fortifying Japanese curries and ramen bowls that are ideal for warming up in winter. But for Steveston Sips, they’re also offering a festive accompaniment: Okinawa Orion Black Beer Float. Combining Japanese black beer with vanilla ice cream, it’s topped with a decadent crown of whipped cream.
Steveston Built (130 – 12480 No. 1 Road) is a village taphouse where comfort food complements a multitudinous menu of beer and wine options. But for Steveston Sips, don’t miss their winter-busting Sake Colada. The perfect finale to a hearty meal, it’s an exotic and delicious fusion of sake, pineapple juice and crème of coconut.
Steveston Seafood House (3951 Moncton Street) has been a favourite among fans of top-notch B.C. seafood for many years. And for Steveston Sips, you can toast your delicious meal with a lovely London Fog Martini. Concocted from premium Hendrick’s Gin, earl grey syrup, vanilla liqueur and more, it features notes of cream and bergamot.
Village Books & Coffee House (130 – 12031 First Avenue) is an inviting destination for all your book-based Christmas gift shopping. But it’s also a warm and welcoming pit stop serving great java and treats. This year, their Steveston Sips creation is Chocolate Bourbon Caramel Latte, a delicious libation suffused with sweet buttery caramel notes.
